Dana M. Peck is the newly elected Board Chair for HopeWorks, stepping into the role after 15 years of deep involvement and dedication to the ministry and the women it serves. She is committed to honoring the organization's rich foundation while guiding its next chapter through five vital pillars: Prayer, Participation, Provision of oversight, Promotion of the mission, and Protection of the ministry. Professionally, Dana is a creative solutionist with a keen sense for technology and wide-ranging experience in administrative, personnel, and logistical processes, alongside extensive database, spreadsheet, and desktop publishing expertise. As the Director of Digital Solutions for the 134-year-old AFRO American Newspaper, she works closely with team leads to help them manage their area’s information and improve company efficiencies. She manages membership and circulation efforts and collaborates with advertising clients to help them build their brands across the AFRO’s digital platforms. A published author, Dana brings a wealth of educational expertise to her leadership roles, holding a B.A. in International Relations, an M.P.H. in Community Health, and a Juris Doctor degree. Outside of her professional and board leadership, Dana is an active member of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, where she and her husband, Kevin, co-lead the Marriage ministry. She is the proud mother of six grown children and a loving grandmother of two.

John Wise was a Vice President of Investments with Marcus & Millichap and Senior Director in the firm's National Office & Industrial Properties Group for over 20 years. John is a knowledgeable and experienced commercial Investment broker with over forty (40) years of experience in investment real estate. John is currently an agent with Talking Rock Realty in Talking Rock, Georgia. John obtained his BBA in Accounting at Texas Tech University in 1964, and went on to graduate from the University of Texas School of Law in 1967. He practiced law in Dallas, Texas, in real estate and tax litigation before moving full-time into financial planning and real estate acquisition analysis for individuals and companies. John moved into real estate brokerage in the early 1990s in Atlanta, Georgia. John Wise was an active member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, the coveted Atlanta Realtors Million Dollar Club, and NAIOP. In 2003, John brokered the largest office transaction in Atlanta of $131,000,000 for the purchase of the IBM Regional Headquarters on Northside Parkway. In his 40 years in commercial real estate, John has been involved in over $1.5 billion of real estate transactions. He has been involved in many 1031 exchange transactions for buyers and sellers of commercial real estate. John has represented TMW Real Estate Group, Prudential Real Estate Services, Jamestown Management, Wells Fargo, Wells Funds, ProLogis, First Industrial, IDS, Pension Fund Advisors, and many private capital buyers/sellers in the sale of commercial investment properties.

Chuck LeCraw is an Atlanta native whose career has spanned architecture, construction, real estate development, home inspections, and real estate brokerage. He graduated from The Westminster Schools before earning a degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia and later completing studies in Construction Management at Georgia Tech. Throughout his career, Chuck has combined his professional expertise with a passion for service and missions. He has led volunteer teams on short-term mission projects in the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Bolivia, helping construct churches and community facilities that serve local needs. In Kenya, he worked alongside the Presbyterian Church of East Africa (PCEA) in the development of a seminary dedicated to preparing future ministry leaders. Chuck has also devoted significant time to community and faith-based leadership. He has served on the boards of Amistad Mission in Bolivia, Whitefield Academy, and HopeWorks Ministries. In addition, he has held leadership positions as an Elder at North Avenue Presbyterian Church and as a Vestry Member at Christ Church of Atlanta. Chuck and his wife make their home in Big Canoe, Georgia. Together, they are the proud parents of four children and grandparents to six grandchildren.

Hank Booth is married to Elizabeth Booth, and they have two children and two grandchildren. He retired from The Coca-Cola Company in June 2026 following a distinguished career, most recently serving in Customer Solutions and eCommerce. As a former individual served by Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, Hank transformed his personal experience into a lifelong commitment to serving others. He went on to serve on Devereux’s National Board of Trustees and as Chair of its Georgia Advisory Board, advocating for vulnerable children and families and helping advance access to compassionate, high-quality care. Hank’s relationship with HopeWorks began when he served with the ministry in the early 2000s. He joined the HopeWorks Board of Directors in 2024, bringing extensive corporate leadership and nonprofit governance experience, as well as a deeply personal understanding of the life-changing power of service.

Anthony Sims was born and raised on Atlanta’s Historic Westside. He is the blessed husband of Constance Sims, father of six children, grandfather of twenty-four, and great-grandfather of four. A graduate of H. M. Turner High School, Minister Sims completed a four-year apprenticeship with Sheet Metal Local Union 85 and went on to enjoy a forty-year career, retiring as a supervisor for one of Atlanta’s largest mechanical contractors. Minister Sims was baptized at age 12 by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. After rededicating his life to Christ as a young adult, he faithfully served Mt. Moriah Baptist Church through the Usher Board, Trustee Ministry, Sound Ministry, and a Sick and Shut-In Ministry he founded. Called to a deeper walk with Christ, he pursued studies at the Interdenominational Theological Center, completed a two-year biblical studies program through BTCL, and became a Stephen Ministry Leader. In June 2019, he preached his initial sermon and later became Chairman of the Trustee Ministry and an Associate Minister. Minister Sims currently serves as Chaplain and a Board Member of HopeWorks, where he supports the ministry’s mission of providing free home repair services to widows and seniors. His favorite scripture is Matthew 6:33: “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.”

Gary Adams is a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, and a graduate of the University of Tennessee. He has spent his career in construction-related businesses and currently co-owns a commercial subcontracting company with his son. Gary and his wife, Carol, have been married for 42 years and are the proud parents of two children, Chip and Molly, and grandparents of five. They are active members of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, where Gary has served in several leadership roles, including deacon, deacon officer, Sunday Bible Study teacher, and men’s discipleship leader. In 2021, Gary joined Christian Leadership Concepts as Area Director for Northeast Atlanta. In this role, he helps men explore matters of faith and life while forming long-term discipleship groups focused on spiritual growth and leadership. Gary and his family have also served with Young Life for many years through committee leadership, volunteer service, and staff involvement. Outside of work and ministry, Gary and Carol enjoy fitness, traveling, and spending time together. Gary also enjoys outdoor cycling and golf.
